MYCORRHIZAL FUNGI INOCULUM
Ryze ® is a microbial product consisting mainly of mycorrhizal fungi, belonging to the Glomus genus, characterized by the ability to achieve symbiotic association with the roots of higher plants (Mycorrhiza). Mycorrhization occurs through the production, within the radical cells, of particular structures called “arbuscules” and, in some cases, also of “vesicles”.
Ryze ® also contains PGPR (plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria), such as Pseudomonas sp, Bacillus spp, and others.
The plants that grow in a soil inoculated with Ryze ® benefit from a dense mesh network in the rhizosphere and therefore show: a better rooting; a better growth and strength of the root apparatus; increased nutrient absorption and rapid growth of the plant; greater resistance to harmful substances present in the soil; protection against water and nutrient stresses; increased production and availability of self-produced phyto-hormones.
Highly fertilized soils, especially if rich in phosphorus, and disinfected with liquid fumigants, may hinder the development of Mycorrhizas formation. After the transplantation, wait at least a week before to apply phosphorus to the soil.
