Mycorrhization occurs through the production within root cells of special structures called &#8220;arbuscules&#8221; and, in some cases, also &#8220;vesicles.&#8221; Plants, growing in soil inoculated with Ryze, take advantage of a dense network of hyphae in the rhizosphere therefore show: better rooting; greater development and robustness of the root system; increased nutrient uptake and rapid plant growth; heavily fertilized soils, especially if rich in phosphorus, and those disinfected with fumigant liquids, can hinder the development of Mycorrhiza formation.
