Description
Bendaflex ® is a self-sealing bandage for the protection of graft sutures, consisting of a combination of special elastomers with exceptional flexibility and adhesion, even to irregular contours and curved surfaces.
Self-sealing means that Bendaflex ® has the ability to form a homogeneous mass that welds quickly. Bendaflex ® contains no adhesives, mastics, or solvents, is applied only under tension, and forms a permanent insulating layer and a waterproof but breathable barrier. Bendaflex ® is of great importance in the application on grafts because it does not drip even when extreme temperatures (-10 °C/+60 °C) occur, is frost-resistant, does not crack, does not penetrate the callus, and does not damage the scion about to sprout. Bendaflex ® has good resistance to ultraviolet rays and saline solutions, so it has several applications in agriculture.
Bendaflex ® tape, imported from the United States of America, has been researched and fine-tuned in collaboration with technicians from all over the world in order to make an extremely elastic bandage that protects the graft while allowing the scion to develop and the plant to grow. Bendaflex ® leaves no trace of the bandage after its removal.
