Description
RYZE is a microbial product consisting mainly of Trichoderma, rhizosphere bacteria and mycorrhizogenic fungi, belonging to the genus Glomus, characterized by the ability to make a symbiotic association with the roots of higher plants (Mycorrhiza). Mycorrhization occurs through the production within root cells of special structures called “arbuscules” and, in some cases, also “vesicles.” Plants, growing in soil inoculated with Ryze, take advantage of a dense network of hyphae in the rhizosphere therefore show: better rooting; greater development and robustness of the root system; increased nutrient uptake and rapid plant growth; heavily fertilized soils, especially if rich in phosphorus, and those disinfected with fumigant liquids, can hinder the development of Mycorrhiza formation. In the week following transplanting, therefore, avoid the use of phosphorus.
